Butte 211 cal hope

Provides non-clinical mental health and emotional support to individuals and families impacted by the Bear/North Complex Fire to help them better understand their reactions to the disaster they experienced. Each survivor is assisted based on their individual emotional and mental health needs by sharing a variety of non-clinical techniques such as coping skills and problem-solving skills. Emotional support is provided by walking alongside the survivor during this phase of their recovery journey. Also encourages and links each survivor to seek community resources and longer-term mental health support with agencies from the community. Can be a liaison, as needed, with other local community agencies on the clients behalf at the survivors request.

Individuals must be ages 18 and over to utilize this service.

The Butte 211 CalHope Navigator team is NOT disaster case management and does NOT provide crisis counseling services.
